My name is Jonas!………………………………………. Flashback 1994, the explosion on scene of every teen age rock repertoire. Played in all the parties, and met with loud sing-alongs. (Burp) Beer bottles held high, smiles, rocking back and forth and the occasional head bang and gyration.

Instantly from the first song you are brought back to those early teenage years, you look around not much has changed from those backyard parties… (well, we’re all in our 30’s now – the beer is legal). Indeed this is another pleasant memory to add to the many associated to Weezer.

Hailed from Los Angeles, California this band started in 1992, Weezer often referred to as geek rock has as much sincerity and maturity as they do humor. Despite undergoing changes and hiatuses, at times feeling like this would be all she wrote, Weezer, by no way a failure, has managed to put out a bounty of album to keep their fans entertained the last two decades.

I got a box full of your toys………………………………………. With its line up consisting of Rivers Cuomo, Brian Bell, Patrick Wilson, and Scott Shriner, Weezer took stage and blew their fans away. One thing can be said, they are a very generous a band. From the interaction to the distribution of accessories like picks drum sticks etc. A few times Rivers would walk into the crowd playing his guitar taking pictures with the fans. They were light on the story telling and heavy on the playing of songs.

Their song choice was limited to 20 songs including the encore and as mentioned before with the abundance of songs it’s going to be hard to please everyone. Classics like “In The Garage” and “Pink Triangle” were missed but the popular classics that all are familiar with were accounted for and well performed.

The energy of the “Weezerians” was all around fun, happy, and the audience received and returned the vibe all night.
